Imagine Formby and Formby Heritage Centre are where Formby’s future and past come together. An inspiring community hub that makes the village more environmentally friendly, creative, and proud of its heritage.

Imagine Formby is a non‑political, volunteer‑led CIC created by local people who care deeply about the future of our village. Our mission is simple: to protect what makes Formby unique while making it more vibrant, sustainable and welcoming for everyone.

Through consultations with residents and collaboration with local organisations, clubs and societies, we design and deliver projects that respond to real community needs. Whether it is greener streets, livelier events or better support for businesses and young people, Imagine Formby is here to help ideas turn into action.

Imagine Formby works across four key project streams designed to benefit the whole community :

• Art, culture & heritage : Celebrating local creativity, supporting exhibitions and events, and animating The Attic as a hub for arts and storytelling.
• Environment : Championing a more environmentally friendly Formby with greener ideas for public spaces and village life.
• Local business: Raising the profile of the village, supporting traders and developing projects that bring more people into Formby’s shopping area.
• Youth & community: Giving young people and residents a voice in shaping Formby’s future through inclusive, fun community initiatives.formbybubble+2
